2024 Chevrolet Blazer

Set to stun!

The Chevrolet Blazer was already an incredibly sharp-looking midsize crossover SUV that would turn heads as you drive around Milwaukee, West Allis, Glendale, and Menomonee, and the latest 2024 Chevrolet Blazer is all that and more after last year's modest refresh. The current Blazer is as impressive on the inside as on the outside, which is saying something. With its strong engines, engaging driving characteristics, enhanced tech, and a raft of the latest driver-assistance features, you'll struggle to find any area where this impressive crossover SUV falls short.

A versatile lineup

There may only be four different trim levels in the 2024 Chevrolet Blazer family, but the many ways you can configure this midsize crossover SUV mean it will appeal to a vast audience. It may have sharp looks and be great to drive, but the interior is spacious and practical for up to five adults. Whether you want sporty, sensible, aggressive, or family-friendly, the all-new Chevy Blazer has it covered.

The range starts with the entry-level 2LT, but even this most affordable model in the lineup can be configured in many ways to suit your particular style. Next up is the equally imaginatively named 3LT trim level, and then you have the sporty RS before the range reaches its pinnacle with the sensational Blazer Premier. Undoubtedly, the RS is the most striking model in standard form, but with options like the Black Sport Package and Black roof (for two-tone color combinations), even the 2LT can be a real head-turner.

Under the hood

The standard powerplant for the 2LT, 3LT, and Premier trim levels in the 2024 Blazer family is a lively 2.0-liter turbo-four that puts out a useful 228 horsepower and 258 lb.-ft. of torque. The standard format is front-wheel drive, but all-wheel-drive is available for all three trim levels with the 2.0-liter engine. The alternative powerplant is a 3.6-liter V-6, which puts a healthy 308 horsepower and 270 lb.-ft. of torque at the Blazer's disposal.

You can't have the V-6 under the hood of a Blazer 2LT, but you can upgrade the 3LT and Premier to the V-6. The RS is the only model that gets the V-6 as part of its standard specification and isn't available with the 2.0-liter turbo-four. However, the Blazer RS is available in your choice of standard front-drive or available AWD formats. Regardless of trim level, engine, or drivetrain, every 2024 Chevrolet Blazer sends its power to the wheels through a nine-speed automatic transmission.

Safety first

SUVs that are as stylish, capable, and superb to drive as the Blazer don't always perform too well in crash tests, and some lack the advanced safety features we expect today. However, the 2024 Blazer places a considerable emphasis on safety at every level. Every 2024 Chevrolet Blazer comes with the Chevy Safety Assist package as part of its standard specification. The package includes the likes of Automatic Emergency Braking, Following Distance Indicator, Forward Collision Alert, Front Pedestrian Braking, Lane Keep Assist with Lane Departure Warning, and IntelliBeam automatic high beams.

A power-programmable liftgate is standard on 3LT, RS, and Premier versions of the latest Blazer, and it's also available as an option for the 2LT. But if you are at the RS or Premier levels, your power-programmable liftgate is also hands-free.
